The Indiana Section of the American Chemical Society will be celebrating National Chemistry Week at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. We have been asked to organize a table with hands-on chemistry activities appropriate for children under 14 years old and their families. Our activity for this year’s event will involve the density differences between oil and water. We will also discuss the reason oil and water do not mix. Our visual aid will include colored water and vegetable oil mixtures in clear plastic bottles. If you would like to participate in this event, please RSVP (DANIEL HARPER, Tom Leas, or Kevin Keating). For more information, please visit the Indiana Local Section of the American
